Eat Good at Vintage Irving

Written by Ashley

Vintage Irving is a chic Union Square based restaurant which is known for their affordable tapas style dishes that are perfect for sharing and include fresh, seasonal produce from the nearby green market.   It’s easy to get to from everywhere, while being tucked away on 15th street like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The atmosphere makes you feel cozy and comfy without losing the feeling of a great NYC meal! This is one of my fav places, and I’ll be seeing you there every Tuesday for the rest of my life for the obvious follwing reason. Beginning on Tuesday, July 28th from 7pm – 9pm, Vintage Irving will be launching their new culinary event series, Signature Tuesdays.

Signature Tuesdays will be held in the venue’s private tasting room, and includes 2-3 courses along with wine pairings for only $25! ( See Steph’s ode to skinny New Yorker’s to emphasize our excitement, and to further emphasize that I am not one of said skinny bitches) The series will reoccur on a weekly basis, each week with a new unique menu of fresh and savory offerings. Our first menu will feature options such as artisan blue cheese with homemade quince paste, duck prosciutto and drunken goat cheese bathed in Rioja, and a Truffled Honey Ricotta Cheese, each presented on freshly baked baguettes with wine pairings. This will be an interactive program that chef Jason Bunin will lead- educating, demonstrating and opening to discussion.
