Boston-based software designer Chris Ball made my day with this tech-forward, email counting tee he created using “an Arduino Lilypad and Bluetooth dongle, and an Android phone.” Considering how most people obsess over the flashing red light on their blackberries… imagine how crazy we’d go if our email count was displayed on our clothes!!!

Watch the geek explain his awesome creation. My favorite part is that he put this together with his wife… Kind of a cool couples activity… right?!!! I wish some of my previous boyfriends were that ingenious!

Obvi, the t-shirt won’t survive a washing machine cycle, but it is possible to hand-wash it with a mild detergent, after removing the battery.

How much would you pay for a t-shirt like this, if someone was to manufacture it?
