Sometimes I find really, really great stuff on etsy.com like my Sima Gilady necklace. Other times when looking for new jewelry, I find what can only be described as overpriced road kill hanging from a string.

Entitled Loved to Death, the “artist” explains that he wasn’t killed for the making of this piece, merely scraped off the side of the road. How efficient. It is “hanging from a 14K gold filled spinnel stone 18″ chain with a hook clasp closure” so you know it’s strong and wont break. Heaven forbid your necklace breaks in a restaurant and people think an animal died there! With this $275 necklace you can just say “nope, that fell off from around my neck.” Don’t worry about preserving this little guy, his eyes are glass and comes with “his own black wooden coffin box.” Sexy! Move fast though, there is only one to be sold!
