PLAYLIST

My MJ playlist that has been on repeat

If you grew up in the 80s and 90s like I did, Michael Jackson was at the height of his career and kept shelling out amazing songs. (He still has timeless songs to date!)

Before I annoy everyone with playing my Michael Jackson songs on repeat here is my list:

1. Remember the Time

2. Man in the Mirror

3. Bad

4. We are the World

5. Smooth Criminal

6. Beat it

7. The way you make me feel

8. History

9. I’ll be there

10. Rockin’ Robin

11. Ben

12. I want you back

13. Who is it?

14. They don’t really care about us

15. Black or White

16. Billie Jean

If you are around kids aged 8-14, please play these songs to them. They idolize pop stars that used to idolize Michael Jackson. A history music lesson is much needed today. I played Michael Jackson music today in my dance class and got all the 10 year old boys dancing and wanting to learn more dance steps.

A fun MJ story; I was a fedora wearing, one fingerless glove, moonwalking, crotch grabbing (until I knew that it wasn’t appropriate in public places) kid that was not just a fan of MJ. I worshipped him. When I was 9, I entered a dance contest at the local shopping center in Singapore. I danced to Michael Jackson’s “Black or White” and did a Michael Jackson impersonation as well as the “running man”. I WON! Good times, good memories.
